B.Tech Textile Engineering is a professional undergraduate engineering program that combines engineering principles, textile science, chemistry, manufacturing technology, and modern industrial processes to develop expertise in textile production and technology. The program covers the complete textile manufacturing process, beginning with natural and synthetic fibers and progressing through spinning, yarn manufacturing, weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing, and textile testing. Students learn how raw fibers are converted into high-quality yarns and fabrics using modern machinery and industrial techniques. Practical training is an important component of Textile Engineering. Students work in textile laboratories and workshops using spinning machines, looms, knitting machines, dyeing equipment, fabric-testing instruments, and textile-processing machinery. The course also provides exposure to modern textile technologies such as technical textiles, smart textiles, sustainable textiles, textile composites, advanced fibers, nanotechnology, automation, and computer-aided textile manufacturing.
